Calli  was extremely natural from day one. On her first wild bird hunt in Kansas, she backed, retrieved,  and handled perfectly for a 5 month old puppy, we even have a picture of her backing with a dead quail in her mouth. I continued to hunt her that first season with zero formal training and she continued to impress in handling and finding her own birds while down with our adult dogs. Calli's second season; at a little over a year old, she was easily broke on wild sharptail grouse, standing her birds stop to flush, and backing.  It was very obvious by the end of her second season that she was a big running shooting dog with birds on her mind. She is one of our most consistant bird finders from sharptails, to pheastants, and quail.

Calli's looks and personality match her name. She's our easy button girl. Quiet in the home and when traveling in the kennel. Her personality is as chill as a surfer girl watching the waves roll in, waiting for that perfect wave. She is a lover of our kids, house cat, and anyone she meets. Often times she's so quiet and laid back, we forget she's lying on the couch or chilling in the house on the dog beds. We simply adore everything about this girl.

Calli weighs 50 lbs. OFA Hips Excellent. She is longer coupled with a very fluid gait.
